Our beautiful church was built in 1872 with a gift from the Palmer family, who desired a “free” church to be established in Bedford.

Yes, we have a beautiful church. But you will notice that we have fallen behind on both standard maintenance and upgrades to make us more energy efficient. (Our Energy Star Rating is only 57 – the minimum standard is 75!)

In 2011 we had an energy audit by an outside consultant and have several important restoration projects pending as a result. They include:
• Reglazing and repairing stained glass windows
• Upgrading our electrical system
• Replacing our 50 year-old oil burner
• Restoring and painting our exterior woodwork
• Repaving our driveway

Our Campaign will raise $500,000 to make our church more energy efficient, safer, and to ensure we do not fall behind on maintenance in the future
