Calling All Children and Youth!!!  

SUNDAY SCHOOL (Ages 3 through 5th Grade)
Classes are available between September and June. During the 2007-2008 year, lessons will be taught using the Cokesbury curriculum Exploring Faith.
3-4 year olds will meet in Room 6; K-Grade 1 in Room 11; Grades 2 & 3 in the library; Grades 4 & 5 in Rooms 9 & 10


MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH--SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
Middle School Sunday School meets every week in the Youth Room except for the first Sunday of each month when youth volunteer to usher before and during worship. Lessons will be taught using the Cokesbury curriculum Live Big.


HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH--SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
While there is no formal Sunday School program for high school students, youth in grades 9-12 are encouraged to attend worship on Sunday mornings. Interested youth may serve as lay leaders and/or usher throughout the year, or may assist and/or teach Sunday School classes.


MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH--SUNDAY EVENING CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
An opportunity for youth to gather every Sunday to socialize, learn, serve others, and explore together who God is and what it means to live as people of faith. Middle school and high school will meet separately from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and all youth and youth leaders will come together to share a simple meal from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Middle School "Fantastic Fridays" 
High School Program
 
Christian Education Program 
For children preschool through 5th grade 

The goals of our church program are to help our children: 
  • Develop their own understanding of God and sense God's presence in their lives 
  • Feel a part of the church community 
  • Learn to participate meaningfully in worship and 
  • Learn key parts of the Bible. 
Our church school is staffed with volunteer teachers and takes place during the last half of church service. Any child may participate in the program.

Middle School Program 
for youth 6-8th grade 


This group is for Middle School Youth in 6th-8th grade. 
Meets most Sundays from 7:00 -8:30 p.m. 

We meet on Sunday evenings at the church for games, talks, mind stretchers, and faith builders.  In addition to Sunday night discussions and activities, there are opportunities to 

  • participate in service projects such as tutoring, the Midnight Run or Souper Bowl Sunday,
  • get together with other youth groups,
  • go on trips skiing, mini golfing, or mall scavenging.
The group is made up of youth from the church and their friends from many different middle schools.  You will make some new friends, learn some new things, and have a lot of fun on Sunday nights!

High School Program 
for grades 9-12 


The group for High School Youth in grades 9 - 12 meets most Sundays from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.  

The High School program focuses on service to others and discovering who we are and what we believe.  Many of the discussions are facilitated by the youth.   Throughout the year, there are opportunities to 

  • volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, 
  • hang with friends, discussing the things that really matter,
  • serve the homeless of New York City on a Midnight Run,
  • restore houses locally and abroad,
  • ski the mountains of Okemo,
  • raise money for work trips through a cookie bake-a-thon, Mistletoe Mart luncheon, auction, or craft sales.
The group is made up of youth from the church and their friends who share some common interests and beliefs.  You will make some new friends, learn some new things, and have a lot of fun on Sunday nights!
