If You Come on a Sunday Morning
This is what you can expect. An usher will welcome you at the door and hand you a bulletin. There are no assigned seats. Children attend the first part of the service with parents, and then, after a children’s message, go to their own program, called Sunday Spirit. (If kids are feeling shy, parents can go with them or kids can stay in the service). Most Sundays, music is provided by our BPC Choir and a magnificent organ. There will be hymns, prayers, and a message. We celebrate communion (Lord’s Supper) on the first Sunday of the month. The service lasts a little over an hour. After the service, you are invited to a “Coffee Hour” and sometimes there’s a soup lunch. We always warmly welcome newcomers.
What are the Obstacles?
There are no obstacles to attending BPC! There’s no secret handshake, no dress code, and no requirements to attend. You don’t have to be Presbyterian– there are people of all backgrounds here. Come as you are, exactly as you are. Bring your questions, your doubts, your yearnings, and feel the presence of a loving God.
