If You Come on a Sunday Morning
This is what you can expect. An usher will welcome you at the door and give you a bulletin. There are no assigned seats. Children attend the first part of the service with parents, and then, after a children’s message, go to their own Sunday School program. (If kids are feeling shy, parents can go with them or kids can stay in the service). Most Sundays, music is provided by our BPC Choir and a magnificent organ. There will be hymns, prayers, and a message. We celebrate communion (The Lord’s Supper) on the first Sunday of the month. The service is about an hour in length. After the service, you are invited to a “Coffee Hour” in the Fellowship Hall, and sometimes there’s a soup lunch. We always warmly welcome newcomers.
What are the Obstacles?
There are no obstacles to attending BPC! There’s no secret handshake and no dress code. You don’t have to be Presbyterian – there are people of all backgrounds here. Come as you are, exactly as you are. Bring your questions, your doubts, your yearnings, and feel the presence of a loving God.
